You can create an alias to combine add and save
git config --global alias.addc '!git add -A && git commit'
git addc -m 'test'
You can create a quick alias for save (commit without message)
git config --global alias.save '!git add -A && git commit -m"save"'
git save
Some might use git commit -am 'message'
to combine add
and commit
, but this only affect files that have been modified and deleted, but doesn't affect new files.
