Lubuntu Setup Remote Desktop With Xrdp

Setup xrdp on Lubuntu

Install xrdp

sudo apt-get install xrdp

Edit or create ~/.xsession with the following content

lxsession -e LXDE -s Lubuntu

Restart xrdp

sudo service xrdp restart

Connect to Lubuntu xrdp from Windows

In Win10, click Search and type mtsc. Click on Remote Desktop Connection.

For Computer, put in the IP Address of Lubuntu. Leave User name blank. Click Connect.

You shall be prompted with Login to xrdp. Enter your Lubuntu username and password.
