Python MySql Import Error libmysqlclient

ImportError: libmysqlclient.so.20: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Not Found "mysql_config"

Solution

sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient-dev

If missing my_config.h

_mysql.c:44:10: fatal error: my_config.h: No such file or directory       
       44 | #include "my_config.h"

Solution

sudo wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/paulfitz/mysql-connector-c/master/include/my_config.h -P /usr/include/mysql/

Install again

pip install --upgrade --no-binary MySQL-python MySQL-python

Install at specific directory

pip install --upgrade --no-binary MySQL-python MySQL-python -t lib
