Click 'Create' on the top right of Faceboook and select Group.
- Name of group
- Add some people
- Select privacy: Secret (only members can find the group), Closed (Only member can see the content), Public
Click More -> Edit Group Settings
- Group Name & Icon
- Group Type: General, Buy and Sell, Gaming, Social Learning
- Description
- Web Address: replace URL from numbers to name, e.g.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/nuanxinya918/. NOTE: Once your group has more than 5000 members, you won't be able to customize your address again. - Membership Requests: Learn more about people who want to join your group by asking them some questions. You can ask up to 3 questions, and only the admins and moderators will see the answers.
- Membership Requests from Pages
- Allow Pages to request to join as group members.
- Don't allow Pages to join as group members. Pages who are already group members will stay in your group. You can manage group membership at any time
- Posting Permissions
- Anyone in the group
- Only admins
- Post Approval: All group posts must be approved by an admin or a moderator.
- Story Posting Permissions:
- Anyone in the group
- Only admins
- Story Post Approval: Photos and videos added to the group story must be approved by an admin or a moderator.
Remember to Upload Photo or Change Group Cover.
