No build error, but IDE cannot resolve symbol
Close the project (File -> Close Project).
It will prompt the Welcome to Android Studio screen, where the first option is Start a mew Android Studio project.
Click Import project (Gradle, Eclipse, ADT, etc.) to import the project again and the problem should be resolved.
NOTE: I tried File -> Invalidate Caches / Restart yet it didn't solve the IDE cannot resolve symbol error.
