Can I use my OEM Win10 license on my virtual machine?
I assume Win10 license only allow a single instance (it probably means I can't run it in both as my host machine and inside a VM).
Option 1: MSEdge on Win10 Virtual Machine
These are Win7, Win8.1 and Win10 virtual machines for IE/MSEdge testing valid for 90 days trial.
These virtual machines expire after 90 days. We recommend setting a snapshot when you first install the virtual machine which you can roll back to later.
Option 2: Download Win10 Enterprise 90 Days evaluation
You can install Win10 Enterprise evaluation for 90 days.
NOTE: I guess you could create a snapshot on Day 1 (or after setup your environment) and revert back to the Day 1 snapshot when the evaluation expired.
Option 3: Windows 10 development environment
As of 14 April 2019, there is a virtual machine of Windows 10 Enterprise (Evaluation - VM built in March 2019) bundled with Visual Studio. The VM shall expire on 06/5/19 (I am not sure how often is this VM updated)
Option 4: Download Win10 and install without a key
It seems like you could download Win10 and install without a key/activation, with nagging/watermark and some limitations.
